InterSend works with Bioide to deliver life-saving PPE

As a leading supplier of eCommerce fulfilment solutions, including e-fulfilment and returns management services, InterSend was approached by Bioide to assist in the time-sensitive fulfilment of their Personal Protective Equipment in the UK.

The COVID-19 global pandemic has caused unprecedented disruption to normal life across the globe. As public health measures were put in place to combat the spread of the virus, the demand for PPE (personal protective equipment) surged exponentially, putting extreme pressure on both production and transportation.

Bioide marked the first PPE client for InterSend and we worked quickly to ensure the bespoke nature of Bioide’s requirements were accommodated.

We have been there in the time of national need, securely storing PPE for our customers in our warehouse, ensuring we keep an exceptionally watchful eye on stock rotation, batch management and product best before dates. Our teams were on constant stand by to react in record time to get stock fulfilled the moment requests were made to deliver PPE.

Our team ensured dedicated storage space within our facility was a priority, as well as agreeing on the exact nature of the packaging requirement of the client to ensure orders were fulfilled accurately, on time and to the required standard.
