Throughout the COVID pandemic, we securely stored and distributed PPE. The world has never seen such demand for personal protective equipment and many leading logistics firms stepped up, with loyal staff serving as key industry workers through the fear to ensure these life-saving supplies got where they needed to go.
We have been there in the time of national need, securely storing PPE for our customers in our warehouse, ensuring we keep an exceptionally watchful eye on stock rotation, batch management and product best before dates. Our teams were on constant stand by to react in record time to get stock fulfilled the moment requests were made to deliver PPE.
We have fulfilled and delivered charitable donations of PPE to those in need for NewstradAid, the charity that supports those in retailing and distribution section of the newspaper and magazine publishing industry.
Our warehouse team have supported eCommerce fulfilment for PPE suppliers all over the UK with direct to consumer and wholesale logistics.
We also managed inter-organisation distribution across the UK ensuring teams could all share available PPE whilst stock replenishment was awaited.
Our entire team bravely worked to ensure essential PPE supplies were sent where they were needed, on time, every time. For the foreseeable future we will continue to offer PPE storage, fulfilment and logistics. The world has learnt a valuable lesson and we feel it likely PPE storage will remain a core part of many warehouses across the globe. A lack of PPE when it’s needed is something none of us want to face again.
